Or even add a task to the calendar entry and when that's complete the entry disappears
Yes Yes Yes to that!
Waiting for this already: https://bullet.canny.io/feedback/p/complete-events-including… 🙏
This is really a crucial thing for me to work with bullet. Will this be on the roandmap soon? Hamish
Waiting soooooooo bad for this!
I plan to add 'duration' to events/tasks. And then events will be automatically closed rather than having to be 'completed' like a task. That will require a fairly big internal update that I'm working on this quarter
Hamish if the event could be archived, that would allow a focus on whats left today as well. Is this an option?
Dual Stevana you can archive events :)
Hamish hm… how then?
Dual Stevana You can swipe right on any entry to see archive, or tap the entry to go to the entry detail page, and then tap the three dots in the top right to see the archive option
Hamish hm no this is not working for events from my calendar integration... No three dots...
Either that or at least hide past events. Now, my lists get cluttered with all events from the past, very unpractical
Concerned Rebe: Thanks! I hadn't thought about it from this perspective before as I haven't attached events to lists but you're right.
Hamish having the option to "view or not" (ie- check box) would give the user the ability to choose which events were of value to them (ie- daily tooth brushing vs semi annual dental visit).
I'd really love an archive/hide/complete action separate to duration so that I can apply it to external calendar integrations and all day events. I'd be happy for it to just go into the "completed" section Eg. My work calendar often has a lot of "fluff" I'm CC'd to I wont attend, but I do want the rest of the work calendar. Or all-day/long duration events that are relevant but I only really need to acknowledge in the morning and don't want it cluttering the list all day (Pay day, bin day, school holidays, etc)
