If I could vote for 1 story out of all open stories, this would be it. On iOS, the notes section is so clunky. I intend to use this section a lot to prep meetings, which I mark as events. So having a decent text editor would be my #1 priority feature request.
The biggest ask in have for markdown improvements is adding support for checkboxes and to make them toggleable. I'm not familiar with Bear but Markor is a solid mobile markdown editor with an editing bar and syntax highlighting if you want somewhere else to look.

This is partially complete, you can now add formatting with markdown, however I need to make it more usable.
The automatic preview works nicely but the first line of the body collides with the first line of the body if that's a header. With normal text it's fine but a touch more space would be nice. Screen grabs taken on Windows 11.
