Hamish That's amazing. Thank you!
Hamish I have tried multiple ways to export, but what I get is really not working for me. I just add a screenshot of what I mean. Is this, what it should look like? Am I doing something wrong?
Beautiful Bidget: Just created a bug ticket for you here https://bullet.canny.io/bugs/p/weird-formatting-on-export
CSV, being machine readable and (very) human usable, would also be a fine option. I would also suggest that a user could export by "List" or the whole shebang.
This is really important, do you have a timeline when this will be coming? I think this important, because as a user, I am worried everyday, that my data for some reason might be gone if the app crashes, or some other thing happens.
Mere Estrella: The data on your device is backed up to the internet (which is how you can access it at https://journal.bulletjournal.app/ too :) But yes export is on the current roadmap https://bullet.canny.io/admin/roadmap/roadmap
This will be a life saving feature to add! I would suggest exporting in JSON and/or markup languages also since it is easier to parse it for other applications. I think this can let users who are more technically proficient implement their own integration to other apps too.
It's an important option for me too!
Very much looking forwards to this! Now that I’ve been using Bullet for many months I’ve evolved the way I make use of lists and tags and would like to clear out the older formatted content.
Controlled Nessa I'm just about to implement archiving lists/tags/filters if you want to hold off before deleting - in case you just want to hide them
I would prefer JSON since it is easy machine readable and pretty standard for other services during export.

Hamish the pdf would be a great feature for business users who need to be able to show their administration for tax purposes!

Hi everyone, you can now export your entries! There were quite a few different format requests, but as Naked Rivalee brought up, CSV is the best all-rounder as it's easy for programmers to play with, but it's also easily edited by non-programmers with any spreadsheet software. You can export everything by going to settings > export, or you can export an individual list, tag or filter list. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this 💪
