Ok so after reading these comments again I surmised that the way these are designed means the repeating task only shows up the following day once the previous one has been completed. Maybe I’m not thinking about this the right way, but it seems helpful to be able to see that task listed for each day when planning for future workload. Currently I’m applying this to a 31 day routine of house de-cluttering. Instead of inputting each day separately, I’d like to say “House Declutter Task for the Day” and see that show up until I establish an end date. Hope this makes sense!
Ashamed Berny: Okay, thanks, understood. I've added your vote to this ticket which is tracking that feature suggestion: https://bullet.canny.io/feedback/p/recurring-tasks-should-be…
Hmm, thanks for the report and I'm sorry to hear this! I'm not sure what's happened - repeating tasks are still working for me but the fact that it's happened to two of you is concerning. Can you tell me what happens if you go back to your last instance of the reoccurring task, mark it as incomplete and then complete it again? Does the repetition come back - or does nothing happen at all?
Hamish: When I went back and marked it incomplete and then completed it again, it reappeared.
Beneficial Iormina: Ok - I had to modify the repetition code a couple times recently to deal with the new cancel tasks. I suspect I introduced and then fixed a bug - but I'll keep this issue open for a while in case anybody else has this issue. For now please uncomplete and recomplete each recurrence to get your recurring tasks back - and sorry for the inconvenience! Jerry Cornelius can you confirm if uncompleting and recompleting fixes the issue for you?
Me too
Hamish my repeating tasks aren’t showing up when I create new entries
